ASHA SCHOOLS

There are three Asha School in Vajra Corps. We are constantly working to educate our specially abled children to make them self-reliant by enhancing their self-esteem through maximum training so that they become a part of mainstream society. Towards this end an inclusive education project has been implemented in these schools in the Corps Zone. Workshop for parents and teachers was conducted in two phases prior to creation of resources. Children requiring intervention were identified and activities in terms of Inclusive Education Programs were undertaken through a multi sensory approach to bridge the gap with other students. Regular feedback and monitoring for meaningful assessment is being undertaken. 02 x APPS and APS each have established the project in Vajra Corps.
